hello again!!

wow it’s been a week and a bit since Lesbian Vampire Simulator has been released, and the response to it has been really great! seeing it listed as one of the top LGBT/lesbian/trans games on itch especially makes me super happy to see. at one point, it even beat out games such as Calico, Secret Little Haven, and one night, hot springs in popularity and hgdfjghdfjgh it’s still unbelievable to me!!

i’ve been working very hard to bring you version 1.1 of the game! i’ve received a lot of feedback from people playing the game, and i’ve added a bunch of tweaks that i felt were a good fit. not to mention a lot of bugfixes, and some brand new content to make this update just a bit more special!!

bugfixes and tweaks!!!

probably not as interesting, but i’ve removed some junk code that made the game lag up, and improved a few pieces of code here and there as well. the game runs a lot smoother now! on top of that, there’s a few extra additions that make the game a bit easier to explore:

• the final unlockable’s score was changed from 4000 to 3500. you needed an utterly perfect run with all lesbians and zero deaths to get it, but for a lot of players this was a bit too hard to obtain!
• the menu options now have a visual indicator showing you which one you’ve selected! first the only thing that would happen is that the text would become bold, now it’s a lot clearer :)
• your blood level will now colour yellow and red once you start to run out of it! this was in the game before, but i accidentally broke the code and never fixed it :o
• quite some people complained that the timing on the appear/disappear blocks in the Lesbos levels was too harsh, so i made the timing a bit slower!

• fixed a bug where sonya’s flag sprite was 4px too short
• fixed a softlock where you could die finishing a level, resulting in the score counter infinitely decreasing
• moved around the pit death hitboxes in every level down a bit
• you can now not submit a score if you haven’t entered a name
• the main menu contains indicators showing which option you’ve selected
